Though he just recently went “professional,” Bob Keller has been making wine for a long time. Learning from his father and uncle at the age of 19, the Ashville man is now owner of the Woody Lodge Winery. It’s a business that he and his wife, Margie, opened in November of 2013. Little more than a year later, the company has grown to the point that the Kellers have opened a store in the Johnstown Galleria. The couple also plans to expand the Ashville winery to accommodate more guests. With so many big plans in the works, Bob Keller took a few minutes to speak with AMPED editor Bruce Siwy about his business and award-winning wine.
PORTAGE — Brandon Vocco, an offensive and defensive tackle for the Portage Mustangs, was named earlier this month to the All-State First Team Offense in Class A by Pennsylvania Football News. When the news broke, the 17-year-old senior was understandably pleased.
